Poured from bottle copper amber color with a thin white head. Aromas of wheat grain and lager yeast. Taste is toffee malt caramel well balanced slightly sweet effervescent. Quick3Beers (1505) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 27, 2015
So I’ve never had this happen before. I briefly read through the other reviews of this beer, and almost none of them describe what this beer in my hand tastes like. It is a slightly hazy amber, with a strong sour citrus smell. Flavor is a sour lemon, not much malt character at all. As a sour beer, it’s not bad, but it definitely is not the beer others describe. Clear amber color with a white head. Wheat and grain with hints of lager yeast on the nose. Well-balanced with a sweet touch on the palate. WillRunForBeer (2797) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 29, 2015
Nice malty flavors of toffee and caramel present. Crisp and refreshing with a moderately sweet finish. For the style this is pretty well crafted.
Taster at One Stop Grand Reopening. Yellow gold, white head. Very light flavor and aroma. White cracker, a bit of caramel, lemon, grass. Crisp, easy drinking. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 22, 2015

Sweet straw malt aroma. Clear mild amber color. an off white head that is a solid finger thick and stays steady for quite awhile. Light sweet malt taste. Has a smooth bold character. Clean finish and refreshing. Mikeyaponte (76) - Chicopee, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 24, 2015
Amber Lager, smooth, good malty & hopiness balance. If you like dos Equis Amber or Yuengling lager, you will love the similar styled brew.

An amber body with a white head that was really foamy and faded to a thick inch. Great retention and lace. Aroma was mostly sweet from caramel malts. There was a mild presence of toasted malts and a bit of corn. Flavor was crisp and well balanced. Sweet caramel malts paired well with toasted malts and I found the corn notes to be almost complimentary. Smooth finish. Nice beer.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium to dark amber with very little head. Very malty lager with notes of toffee and bread. Good example of the dortmunder style. Not one of the better Brewmaster Jack brews I have tasted so far though. SrSilliGose (3324) - pouring bus, New Brunswick, CANADA - JAN 24, 2014
