Belgo (154) - Køge, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2005
Pours copper/brownish with an OK but quickly disappearing head. The aroma is dominated by British hop varieties and a sweet malty note as well. The taste is again dominated by flowery hop flavours and some apricot/maltiness. Fair amount of good roasted cara-malts used I suppose. On the palate the beer has a sharp and firm hop attack. The aftertaste is long, dry and bitter. Nice one.

ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2005
Hazy amber colour with a small off white head. Fruity, hoppy bitter aroma. Hoppy bitter flavor with lemon hints and a long dry finish.

ToolHead (266) - København, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2005
Draught at Brewpub København. Served in small Young´s glass. Hazy golden amber. Fine, creamy, lacy, off-white head. Lightly spicy aroma w/ odd, barnyardy overtones. Not very inviting. The flavor is also dominated by barnyard and is quite strange and style-inappropriate (for me, at least). Some bitterness and dryness in the finish. Rather flat, cask-like mouthfeel.

madsberg (11770) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2005
Draught @ the brewpub: Light amber colour. Unclear. Dense, deliciously creamy beige head. Flowers, hops and light chocolate notes in the aroma. Liqourice, hops, herbs and spices in the flavour. Has light fruity flavournotes. Quite full bodied. Is crisp and refreshing. Ends on a heavy bitter note balanced by a light fruity sweetness. This is really a beer, I would love to drink as a sessionbeer. Great stuff.

joergen (28106) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2005
Draft at DBF 2005. Clear orange coloured with a small off white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and malts. Slightly acidic flavour with lots of malts and hops. Dry bitter finish. Nice, but not the best pale ale I’ve had.

3.4
Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - MAY 22, 2005
Draft at DBF2005. Hoppy nose, wtih some sweetness. Hazy orange beer, small white head. Nice hoppy flavor, citrusy, ends quite bitter.
