Clear brownish with copper notes and small offwhite head. Very malty and fruity and delicate hoppy taste...BUT for my taste it is not enough!! Bit metallic.... faroeviking (10910) - FAROE ISLANDS - APR 11, 2007
Danish beer rating # 600. Bottle. Pours a golden amber colour with a nice creamy slight off-white head. Aroma of fruity hops indeed along with pine and citrus. Flavour is dry and hoppy with malt, citrus and pine. Bitter dry finish. yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 7, 2007
Bottle. A bit cloudy, copper body with a huge beige head leaving nice lacings. Piney and citrusy hops with some resin, and sweetness to balance the aroma. Hops dominates the flavor, with pine and citrus, as well as sweetness. Full-bodied beer with a lasting citrus- and pine-hoppy finish. Some sweetness as well. An excellent choice for bottling their first beer. (070407) PetetheMeat (621) - Hove, DENMARK - APR 5, 2007
Orange, cloudy. Tall off-white head, lasting. Fresh aroma with thyme, grass and some malty sweetness. Rich flavour with malty sweetness, lemon, grass, minerals?, notes of thyme, and then a floral, hoppy , medium bitter finish. Sugar sticky palate. Very good. Bottle. Copper with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is nicely hopped and the flavour has notes of fruit, citrus and a hint of caramel. The body is relatively full, but the bitterness could be much stronger. I do however like it, it’s nice! 1880 Rune (12741) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 16, 2007
100ml on tap. Amber with great clarity. Low-level head. Discreet citrus aroma. Well-balanced taste of orange shells. Lingering hop bitterness in the end. Nice palate (12.01.2007). Beer5000 (6483) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 7, 2007
Tap @ Horsens Beerfestival. Golden red body with a thick white head. Lovely citrus, grass aroma (cascade?). A refreshing tasting IPA with a more moderate use of hops, still an American style IPA. Flavor has malt, caramel and a fresh crisp discreet bitter finish. A nice variation in-between all the hop-devils at Horsens. Still I prefer a bit more sting to my festival beers. Probably better together with food, but where was all the food we were promised at this festival?
