On tap at the brewpub. Muddy dark reddish brown with a large dense head. Great aroma, really well balanced. Slightly malty - great level of sourness. Fruity and yummy. joergen (28425) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2006

Draught at the brewpub. Muddy red appearance. Natural raspberry aroma. Sweet and sour raspberry flavour with some nice acidity. It is similar to a mild Flemish sour ale. Very nice. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2006
(On tap) Hazy and completely opaque dark brown with a delicately creamy, beige head leaving notes - almost nitro like. Distinct raspberry aroma. Medium body with dry, acidic notes and a distinct raspberry flavour. An odd bitterish edge. The brewmaster estimated the beer to be 8% ABV at the moment and it will develop further as the Brett chews more of the fruit and malt sugars for more alcohol and acidity. Quite an interesting brew. 241106

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. (lagered 8 months) Murky brown with a minimal tan head. Lots of raspberries in the aroma, but it somehow feels a little artificial. There’s sourness and a little hint of oxidation too. The flavor is mostly raspberries as well, with sourness and a some wood. Tart, palate cleansing, astringent mouthfeel. Raspberries, sourness and wood in the finish. A nice beer to start the day with ;-) (070512) gunnfryd (14972) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 6, 2007

Draught at Brewpub. Dark red - light red head. Raspberries, candy, sour, rubber. "Rodenbach - Taste’a’like" - but not a bad thing. I like it a lot !! madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2006
Draught @ the brewpub. Very dark reddish brown coloured. Dense light brown head wiht red gleam. Strong raspberry notes in the nose. Some fruits and light sourness. Flavour is full of raspberries as well. Some acidity and grapenotes. Is like drinking "Saftevand". Has a grapish note. Medium bodied. Sweet light grapish berries in the end. Get a bit "too" much in the long run. Lacs some of the magnificent sourness and fullness as the version from the Danish Championships, which made it comparable with Kuhnhenn Raspberry Eisbock. But still very drinkable as an aperitif or in small doses. Ungstrup (37889) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2006
An opaque dark red beer with huge pinkish beige head - something like whipped cream with a bit of raspberry juice in. The aroma is very delicious with powerful raspberry notes. The flavor starts out really lovely with strong notes of raspberries combined with notes of wood and some acidity - and hints that reminds me of over ripe cherries. A lovely start, but it lacks body inspite of the 7.5% ABV, and lacks a depth. It is not as good as the "handbrewed" version that won the Danish Championships.
