Draught at the brewpub. Brown colour with a great fine head. Hoppy aroma with notes of oak, liquoirice and bitter hops. Flavour of malt and light tasty hoppiness. Ends up bitter and very dry. Skinnyviking (9767) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2006
Draught. Small white head. Clear amber body. Spicy malt aroma with hints of bread. Dry malt hops flavor with a pleasant long aftertaste. Claimed to have vanilla and liqourice flavors as well. Sorry mates I could not taste it. The fault is probably on me. Well done though. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 10, 2006
Deep amber colour with a small beige head. Malty sweet aroma with a hoppy pine note. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with a hoppy grassy finish. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 9, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Amber colour with a medium fast dissapering head. Malty, light wood, soap, piny aroma and taste. Medium body with a light sweet, bitter dry finish. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2006
(On tap) Beautiful clear copper colour with a creamy, beige head leaving a neat lacework. Dry, malty aroma and perhaps - if I really try hard - a whiff of wood. Fairly full-bodied with sweetish, malty accents of caramel and then a rather marked bitter hoppiness in the finish. Not much oak to be detected though. 061006

Draught at the brewpub.
Clear orange coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of malts, caramel and liquorice.
Flavour of malts, caramel, liquorice, grape fruits and hops.
Hoppy finish. Ungstrup (38986) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 3, 2006
A deep red beer with a slight hazy underneath a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet with a distinct hop character giving it notes of citrus, but it also has a slight vanilla note. The flavor is quite sweet malty with a strong hop presence right from the start with a lot of citrus and grapefruit, but then a note of caramel grows in strength, soon to be followed by notes of vanilla and oak, the oak lending it a dry woody end that mixes well with the bitterness.
