Cask @ Brewpub. Two finger beige bubbly head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Muddy dark brown / mahogany color. Lovely raspberry sniff with hint of citrus, wood and sweet mix of fruit as well. Over the palate, light sour notes of raspberry, fresh apple, light citrus. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and somewhat dry texture. Light sour and sweet flavor in balance. Raspberry sour finish with a hint of spice feel. faroeviking (10842) - FAROE ISLANDS - NOV 18, 2007
Cask. Pours a deep red-brown colour. Sweet, fruity raspberry wood aroma. The flavour is sweet with raspberries, wood, caramel and a little sourness. Surprisingly little sourness in this beer.

Cask. A murky brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of raspberries and very faint acidic notes. The flavor is sweet, but also with a light acidity, and light notes of wood, brettanomyce, and raspberries. Fine - but I’d have liked more acidity. A mainstream frambozen. yespr (44810) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2007
From cask at the brewpub. Pours unclear redish brown with a diminished light brown head. Very mild sweet beneath and strong citric raspberry aroma on top, only mildly brett-ish. Mouthfeel is quite light and gives an initial feel and flavour of a raspberry juice. Classic flavours soon join, such as slight wooden notes and mild sulphorish notes too. Ends woody and dry, the beer has slight sweet caramel malt notes throughout though. Nice but somewhat weaker than the belgian rolemodels. Strange hops note in the far finish, clearly unusual but nice. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2007
(Cask) Very unclear and opaque dark brown with a small, lacing, beige head. A little flat mouthfeel from the low carbonation. Distinct and authentic raspberry aroma. Medium body with sweet’n’sour raspberry notes and an almost astringently dry finish. Not overly sour or bitter. 081107 Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2007
