IMPERIAL er en dobbelt-mæsket velsmagende "baltisk porter" med en blid bitterhed og høj restsødme. Den betydeligt sammensatte maltprofil bidrager – sammen med den høje alkohol - med toner af rosiner, mørk chokolade og lakrids, samt en meget svag antydning af røg. En porter hvor brygmesteren bestemt ikke har sparet på noget.

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sugary, light sweet dark dried fruit - raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, dark malt, wood, light smoked, light sweet dark dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170518]

09-SEP-2014, draft @the Brewpub. Black with low lasting, lacing, Brown head. Aroma is smoke and roast. Taste is smoke, meat, chocolate, burnt Wood, licorice, caramel. Quite full body with soft carbonation. Really nice and complex. The best Brewpub I have had.
