Draught at the Brewpub, May 2006. More red than brown, and quite dry for a brown ale. Bit of diacetyl in the aroma. More fruity hops and less chewy malt than expected from the style. Quite light bodied. Pleasant enough but not one my favourite Brewpub Kobenhavn offerings.

Draught. Reddish with a off white/beige head. Hoppy aroma with flowers and some acid/earthlike touch (infected?). Hoppy flavour with malt and an nice bitter finish. Still some acid though. Average palate. Christian (13773) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2006
Hazy brown beer with a lasting offwhite head. Lots of malt in the aroma, dry malty flavour with a light biter aftertaste. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 1, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark brown - white head. Dark fruits, caramel, malty, hoppy bitter, raisins. It could use a bit more caramel / nut... brown-ale-taste !!! radiomgb (2686) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2006
Draught at <a
href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/denmark/ target=blank>BrewPub København in Copenhagen, Denmark. Very deep amber in colour, lasting brown head ring around the glass, some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty, some light coffee, chocolate and licorice. The flavour is quite sweet, some dark malts (chocolate), light roast, some coffee. Mildly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes sweet, medium length. Borderline cloying, intensely sweet.

Neat dark brown color, fast disappearing head, faintly burnt nose. Surprisingly smoky in the mouth, lacks hops for my taste, no real aftertaste to speak of. Not bad, just another ho-hum drink from Brewpub. I actually liked the place better in the old days before they got their own beers ready. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 24, 2006
Amber with a nice offwhite head. Aroma from chocolate and toffee. Some fruity notes. Flavor from licorice and chocolate, a bit spicy. Rather hoppy bitter finish. yngwie (17168) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with a dense beige head. Fruity, lightly roasted aroma with some piney hops. Flavor starts hoppy, but there is also malty caramel, some notes of roasted malt, and coffee. A bit thin body, and a long dry, hop-bitter and coffee-bitter finish. A pleasant beer that went well with their beef-stew. (060519) bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2006
On tap. Brownish in colour with medium head. Nice sweetness. A bit too hoppy and dry though. Notes of caramel and malts. Skinnyviking (9670) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2006
Draught. White creamy and lasting head. Beautiful unclear ruby body. Not much aroma just a bit of dry malt which is also reflected in the flavor. Higher hops bitterness than expected.
