NosirIwont (2547) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - JUL 8, 2005
Draft @ the brewpub. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Nice malty aroma. Flavour has a malty bitterness. Slightly bitter finish with fruity notes. A bit thin, but then, it is supposed to be a ’summer beer’, so I guess it’s okay. Too much carbondioxide, though.

Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2005
Draught at the brewpub. Reddish chestnut coloured. Sweet flavour with hints of different spices. A nice malty finish. No elderflowers in this, that’s for sure.

Ungstrup (37862) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2005
A hazy amber beer with a small lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and fruit. The flavor is slightly sour and yeasty combined with notes of caramel and aroma hops. The end is dry and bitter.

Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2005
Draught at the pub. Amber colour with a medium off-white head. Light sweet caramel aroma and a light sweet fruity caramel hoppy taste. Medium body and a light dry finish. Quit plesent on a hot summer day.

Draught at the brewpub. Ale added elderflowers. Red coloured with a creamy off white head. Sweet fruity aroma dominated by elderflowers with malty notes. But not much aroma at all. Fruity and malty flavour dominated by elderflowers with notes of liquorice root and hops. Hoppy finish. Finally a dansih "fruit beer" that isn’t cloyingly sweet.

Pleasant malty aroma and cllear amber color with a small creamy head. Mild, harmonious ale-flavor but the palate is for some reason very pilsner.

Hazy amber colour with an off white head. Fruity aroma with a caramel sweetness. Flavor has a fruity sweetness and a hoppy finish.

Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - JUN 10, 2005
Draught at Brewpub København.
Hazy dark amber color, foamy light tan head. Mostly sweet aroma of fruit and malt with smokey hints. Quite smokey flavor with sweet sugary and malty notes. Odd from the smoke and too sweet - it’s like a smoked limonade?! Too high on carbonation.

Bottled: Amber coloured. Clear. Off white small head. Sweets, fruit and berries in the aroma. Flavour of fruit, malt and cocoa. LIght spiced. Ends on a smooth and fruity note. This is a beer with a little too vague aroma and flavour for my likings, but a lot of people probably find it quite toasty and refreshing.

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2005
(sampled draught at the brewpub) Clear brown with low creamy head. Malty aroma of grass and nuts. Full malty flavour of grass and almonds, hints of vegetables. Long dry aftertaste. Feels rather unclean...
