Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with lacing rim. Rasin malty aroma, slight estheric note. Full bodied. Flavour is thick malty, slight sweet filled with minor dried fruit and raisin notes. Good bitterness 1/2 minute into the dry finish. Very well made. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2007
Draught at the brewpub. A amber beer with a big white head. The aroma is of caramel malt, citric hops, quit floral, so is the taste, but a bit dusty. Medium body with a dry finish. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2007
(On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a handsome, dense and very retentive, off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Fresh and floral hopping. Rather full-bodied with notes of caramel and Bastogne biscuits. The finish is flowery hoppy but also brutal and bitter - just like a PJ Harvey song. No wonder Ungstrup likes it - he always was a fan.... 030707 Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 4, 2007
Draught at Brewpub. Unclear dark amber - offwhite (too light yellow) head. Aroma: Sweet malty, caramel, dark bread, nice medium dry hoppy. Taste: Resin, dry grass, caramel, dark bread, cactus, light chokolate, lots of malty sweetness. A sticky mouthfeeling. Medium carbonated. Lasting dry resin-bitter finish. Ungstrup (38902) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Draft. A hazy amber beer with a nice lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of bisquits, but also with notes of spices, caramel, and brown sugar. The flavor is sweet and very malty with primary notes of caramel and bisquits, but also with lighter notes of cinnamon and alcohol - a very fine spicyness, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish which also includes a light touch of citrus. I want one more.
