Took a long time to pour. Big deep offwhite head. Hazy deep red body. Floral resiny pineapple aroma with perfumy notes. Sweet-dryish vinous sugary malty taste with oily resiny earthy notes. Full-bodied. Mild, mouthfeel with faint alcoholic heat, which lingers. Dryish-sweet, faintly acidic, roasty floral aftertaste with honey notes. Nice, mellow, and drinkable. Nicely complemented by the light acidity, too. (0.3l draft at brewpub, split with hcalsos.) jonas (7611) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 11, 2012
Live at CBF 2012. Phenolic raspberry aroma, DMS. Orange golden, offwhite head. Somewhat off fruit notes. Dry full body. Ok sorry, not impressed. yngwie (17078) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2011
On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A clear one, dark amber in color and with a dense, medium sized, beige head. Strawberry jam, sugar and some peaches on the nose, definitely not my idea of a DIPA aroma. The flavor is a tad better, with sweet maltyness as a base, and fruityness and berries up front. Not very DIPA-ish, but not borderline bad either. Lacking on bitterness all the way. Medium body, rather sticky. Well, not my idea of a DIPA, wonder if it’s supposed to be like this. And, you don’t use EKG as The hop for a DIPA. 110526 larsniclas (7107) - Billdal, SWEDEN - SEP 27, 2011

From tap @Brewpub København. Low creamy off-white head. Clear, dark reddish-brown body. Red berry aroma with hay and dust notes. Distinct caramel malts, too. Fruity hop flavor, strong bitterness. Medium, light sweet malt body. Not full, kind of watered down in the mouth. Alcohol warmth and a substantial bitterness in the ending. Not very exciting, but went well down. hallinghansen (3290) - Odense SV, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2011

BF 2011. Reddish amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is leathery, mild nectar, some syrup as well as wooden. Flavour is leathery, fruity, mild floral and grassy notes as well. A bit too sweet, and the leathery notes are also a bit strange.
KØ11. Buttery berry aroma. Clear chestnut colour. Distinct smokey flavour, berry notes. Not IPA in my book, and not the first Brewpub beer with weird smoke notes.
