From tap at Brewpub, listed as ’08 version, thanks to Grovlam. Pours hazy orange with a little lacing head. Light fruity aroma with a little grainy note. Somewhat grainy dry flavour and with a nice fruity note on top. Ends with a mild bitterness an continued fruity note into the finish. A hazy amber beer with a collapsing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, münchner malt, saazer hops, and esters, which I tonight learnt is a result of a lager yeast fermenting warm - in this instance at 13 degrees Centigrade. The flavor contains lots of caramel, as well as yeast and nuts or is it rye? it has a dryness from roasted malt in the end. joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 24, 2005
Draught at DBF 2005.
Orange coloured with an off-white head.
The aroma is totally dominated by malty notes.
The flavour is also very malty with some hoppy notes.
Not bad, but it’s a bit to malty for my liking. Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2006
(On tap) 5.4% ABV in my version. Very beautiful amber with a creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Quite full-bodied with plenty of sweet malt and a vague, underluing acidity. Discreet hoppy finish. 250206
