A dark amber beer with a fine off-white head. Grain, toffee, fruit and rye notes in the sweet and somewhat sugary aroma. Dominating rye malt flavor. Mostly sweet with some bitterness underneath. Notes of caramel and toffee. A really nice and flavorful lager.
Some herbs and flowers in the nose. Quite clean and well-balanced beer. A nice brew with a good complexity. Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 28, 2010

caramel, roasty, toast, smoke, vanilla, woody, brown, hazy, tan foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, soft carbonation, ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2005
Tap. Very, very bright for an unfiltered beer. Creamy head with good stability. Nutty aroma with slightly roasted hints. Smooth and malty palate with a dry finish. Maybe a bit too sweet for style - but still a very nice beer .... and apparently the only beer my Dad really liked at the danish beer festival.
