UPDATED: SEP 18, 2005 Pours nice and dark with a stable head. Has a malty flavor with nutty hints. Nutty finish with notes of malty caramel. Ungstrup (37861) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 25, 2005
A hazy amber beer with a collapsing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, münchner malt, saazer hops, and esters, which I tonight learnt is a result of a lager yeast fermenting warm - in this instance at 13 degrees Centigrade. The flavor contains lots of caramel, as well as yeast and nuts or is it rye? it has a dryness from roasted malt in the end. ChristianSA (368) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2005
Tap. Very, very bright for an unfiltered beer. Creamy head with good stability. Nutty aroma with slightly roasted hints. Smooth and malty palate with a dry finish. Maybe a bit too sweet for style - but still a very nice beer .... and apparently the only beer my Dad really liked at the danish beer festival. Jeppe (2631) - Brooklyn, Alabama, USA - MAY 26, 2005

A dark amber beer with a fine off-white head. Grain, toffee, fruit and rye notes in the sweet and somewhat sugary aroma. Dominating rye malt flavor. Mostly sweet with some bitterness underneath. Notes of caramel and toffee. A really nice and flavorful lager.
Some herbs and flowers in the nose. Quite clean and well-balanced beer. A nice brew with a good complexity. yespr (45709) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2008
