Decent, traditional porter. Good head and lacing with a nice long taste. It really comes through when they have the Rioja Porter in November/December. One of the better beers in the area with great oak and Rioja flavors.

Cask at the Reading beer festival. Deep brown. Chocolate nicely balanced against roasty malt with a lovely smooth mouthfeel. Nice.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Elysian Winter Beer Festival 2013 12/01/13. A black beer with a whitish head. A chocolatey malty beer. Quite thin in the nose but better in the mouth where the choc is good. Smooth with a nice aftertaste. Pretty good.
