Bottle shared at home. Black with light tan head. Massive deep earthy coffee roast, cold brew coffee, coffee berries, green paprika, light tones of ash, dark chocolate in the background. Big sweet and fierce earthy bitter. Near full body and soft carbonation. More coffee than I expected, very pleased! Maakun (6018) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - SEP 6, 2017
Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Black with small dark beige head. Massive coffee, green leaves, dark chocolate, toffee, roasted malts, alcohol, black berries, green bell peppers, clay. Medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied with thick feel. Idiosynkrasie (7721) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2017
330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, mocha, a minimally sweet-ish, chocolately touch, cautious leafy and grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is initially extremely bitter, roasty dark malty, bitter notes of coffee and mocha, some bitter hop as well, a touch of orange flavoured chocolate; increasing sweet- and fruitiness. Full body, oily texture, lasting, sweet-ish, sticky finish. Nice coffee nose, slightly unbalanced taste. Flanfl (812) - Lyon, FRANCE - AUG 22, 2017
Black body, medium brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, dried raisin. Flavours of fresh brewed coffee, roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, dried fruits. Long fresh coffee and cocoa dry bitter finish. Full body, low carbo. Great beer, not cloying. I would love to drink a few.

Eksplozja pysznej kawy w zapachu, w smaku dochodzą praliny i miłe pieczenie w gardle. Lekko kwaskowy posmak. Fajne, ale mocno jednowymiarowe.

Black. Head looks like crema stuck to the sides of the glass. Smells like coffee and grain alcohol. Tastes like coffee and cheap cigarettes. Finish feels like I just ate chalk and snorted wodka. I’m not sure why I keep thinking that the next imperial stout will actually be good, but here we are. mariuspoenari (2850) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 6, 2017
On tap at Het Klooster. Very dark pour with a velvety tan head. Notes of smooth roasted coffee, brewed coffee, roasted malts, molasses, subtle dark fruit, cocoa nibs and a bit of alcohol. Smooth texture, roasty chocolatey finish. Really nicely integrated coffee notes, on par with Founders Breakfast Stout and the like. What weighs it down is the booziness that makes itself present after several sips and the harshness in the aftertaste associated with the alcohol. tricksta_p (4878) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - AUG 5, 2017
Bottle at Het Klooster, Delft. Aroma is roasted malt with strong coffee, mocha, coffee grounds, and notes of espresso. Flavour is sweet with some roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is full. Lots of dark malt and coffee flavours, tasty stuff! chrisv10 (17925) - DENMARK - AUG 1, 2017

330ml bottle from Kill the Cat, Brick Lane on 4/5. Wow! I mainly bought this beer for the label, but man! This is one book I'm glad I judged by the cover. Fantastic coffee flavours; all that huge, burnt, roast, dark, rich notes that I love about coffee and about Imperial Stouts... in one beer!!
