COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Passions – we all have them. For Jim and Kurt, one of those is elk hunting. Nothing compares to being in the mountains out West and spotting the very thing you have been searching so long for. Elk are not comfortable in wide open spaces so they tend to hang out in the dark timber. This doesn’t make it easy to hunt them. But great things are not achieved easily.

From the mountains we bring you the splendor of Dark Timber. This American Stout is a little earthy and has flavors of chocolate.

Avoid the mundane. Feed your passion.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear black with lively carbonation. The aroma is of yeast esters and dark malt. The flavor is very clean and tastes like coffee and cocoa. This is a very good American stout. The bitterness is very balanced and fits the style profile very well.

some weird black coffee burnt tarish tabacco notes on the finish that kinda threw me off at first. but after drinking it more and more it gets better as it goes. interesting to say the least.

Taproom tap poured dark cola brown with a small tan head and nice lacing. Aromas of dark roasted malt, coffee hints, chocolate, and toffee. Flavor is mild to medium cocoa bitter.
