3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ Brewsters Oliver Square, post-beerfest. Didn’t note the appearance, but I don’t recall thinking anything was wrong. Solid pine and grapefruit hop profile, low sweetness, bitter finish of solid length. A very satisfying IPA.
Ack. Erased review. Short: dark hazy amber. Heavy on sweet citrus with a zip, peaches, lemon lime, stugglinh to find depth in taste - surprise. Quite bitter but only for a moment. Peaches, sharp lemon, candy sweetness, sweet caramel that gains as it warms from its near frozen state. Drinkable beer as usual but also below average - as usual. Better than many here. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 23, 2014
Cloudy, yeasty dark orange. Nice head and lace. Dusty yeasty flavour with strong orange citrus flavour. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 11, 2014
Pours a slightly hazy deep amber-copper with a thin white ring around the glass and a few spots of lace. Aroma is a nice citrus mixed with pine and a touch of malty sweetness in the background. Flavour is pine, citrus, resinous, and a fairly dry finish with a mild lingering bitterness. maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - JAN 4, 2014
Clear amber pour with small white head. Aroma of malts, pine, citrus and hops. Taste of citrusy hops, fairly mild hop presence, faint malt. Medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, just an ok IPA dominated by citrusy watered down hops. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 4, 2014
Pours a clear gold with a frothy and lacey white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, mango and a light malty sweetness. Taste is citrus and piney malts with a bitterness that’s a touch harsh but still a nice enjoyable ipa.

Tap @ Brewsters Oliver Square, post-beerfest. Same as DuffMan - I got nothing for appearance due to the lighting in the joint. Aroma is hops with not much in the way of malt. Hops were predominately citrus and pine. Nice biterness. Enjoyable. reebtogi (6341) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2013
Pint on tap at the Oliver Square location pours a hazy copper color with a small off-white head that leaves only a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild with pine and grapefruit. Taste is a bolder pine and grapefruit hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness. Finish is somewhat grainy. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A nice brew for a dedicated hop head to sample.
