bellwether, wednesbury. Golden beer with medium bubbly head and good lacing. Aroma of green grass cuttings and herb. Taste is herb, malts and some citrus. Ok.
Cask handpull at The Crosse Keys London as Brewster’s Decadence. Translucent golden yellow, still with a lasting foamy white head. Aroma is musty grains, tired lemon notes, biscuity. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is light biscuity malts blended with light grapefruit, straw, lightly floral. Lovely balance and very drinkable. Grew on me over time. I had a half but I think you’d need a pint to really appreciate this one. jjsint (3493) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2016
Handpull cask at the Green Man, Stamford. Straw, clear with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is really light, but there’s definitely some grapefruit and lemon if you work hard enough. Taste starts bitter and hoppy, but there’s a hell of a load of malt behind this. Very nicely carbonated. Finish has some fruity astringency alongside a transient umami. Odd beer, likable enough and certainly well made but not my favourite by Brewster’s. teorn88 (8066) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 20, 2015
