Dark brown pour with small tan head. Aroma of malts, caramel, hops and slightly nutty. Taste of malts, chocolate, caramel, slightly nutty and a faint hop finish. Medium carbonation and thin mouthfeel. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 26, 2011
Tasted about 3 samples at Edmonton International Beerfest. This was a dark brown pour with a beige head and some lacing on the plastic sample cup. Aromas is predominantly chocolate with a slight hint of coffee. Taste is roasty maltness, a touch of coffee and a dry hoppy finish. Another great beer from the folks at Brewster’s. pintbypint (3947) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 27, 2011
Pint a Summerside location. Pours dark brown. Has a nice small tight creamy head. Lots of lace. Toffee and milk chocolate nose, reminds me of the Crunchier candy bar. Flavor is toffee chips in milk chocolate. Malty finish, drier end. Creamy texture, mild carbonation. Nice. VertBaconStrips (2422) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - MAR 22, 2011
Gots me a very dark brown brew with a small light brown skim and spots. The dominating chocolate aroma has that "freshly pulled out of the oven melty chocolate chip cookie chocolate" smell. Light roasted malts and just the right amount of sweetness. The taste forward yet light. Mainly chocolate followed by light roast and an even lighter weak coffee. Light fruit and a hint of bitterness - just a hint. It has a bit of zip. Ok body. Light all around. Goes back quick without leaving much of an impression. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 4, 2010
Pint. Really cool chocolate cinamon aroma. Dark copper. Flavour of spiced chocolate toffee and coffee. Pleasant brew.

A really really good brown ale. The waitress suggested I try this as I usually get the brown at Brewsters. Aroma is malty, nutty, and huge chocolate in the background. Taste is chocolate, sweet malts and caramels. Overall, an AWESOME beer.
