A copper coloured ale, brewed with four malts and three hops. It has a rich full bodied feel and a delicious fruity hop character.
Introduced in Summer 2004 as a one off. It has rapidly become a favourite in many pubs and is now a permanent beer.

The_Osprey (8717) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2017
Cask handpull at The CBC Brixton as Brewster's Hop A Doodle Doo. Pours an amber orange, clear and still with a minimal off white head. Aroma is sawdust, pale biscuits. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is straw and biscuits, a twiggy or floral astringency with a chlorine note. Yep there's a bit of swimming pool about this but also some nice traditional Hop character and biscuity malt. Fair overall. (5-4-5-4-13=3.1)

Cask. Malt with floral hoppy notes. Pours copper with thin scummy top and broken lacing. Taste is well balanced with some light grapefruit edge to the caramelized malt and biscuit. No more than medium bodied with a slight grassy finish. An acceptable session ale but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Sigmund (7834) - Tau, NORWAY - JAN 1, 2016
Cask halfpint at Wetherspoons, London Victoria Station. ABV is 4.3%. Copper colour, low off-white head. Moderate but nice malty aroma. Malty and nutty flavour with a decent amount of fruity (blackcurrants) and earthy hops.

Towey1989 (3171) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2015
Cask at The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) A clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of dusty yeast, toasty malt, some red berries, slight caramel and subtle floral hops. Taste of toasty malt, some caramel, slight red berries, subtle apple and dusty, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, dusty hop bitterness in the finish. A simple, boring bitter with an unappealing hop character. Extremely easy to drink though.

edsspoon (905) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2015
Gravity - amber with a thin ring for a beige head that mixes into the beer. Aroma of passion fruit, lemon and grapefruit with a hint of grass. Taste is citrussy with lemon, orange, mango and passion fruit. Light, grassy bitterness to finish. Medium body.

Erzengel (9364) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2014
Cask. Smooth hoppy beginning. Fresh but not too deep aftertaste. Malty with nice floral hops. Easy to drink but still malty deep! Nice!

SlackerMads (3479) - DENMARK - AUG 26, 2014
Cask. Clear hazelnut brown with a small off white head. Herbal, dry flowers, berries, grain, light dust, wooden. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Light dry finish. Easy going.

Ferris (16301) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 26, 2014
Cask - Pine and resin with a bit of caramel.  Clear copper with a decent beige head.  A little pithy grapefruit and caramel.  Mild and mellow.
