Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Feb 2010 - Pale Gold in colour. Very fruity; tangy zesty citrus grapefruit and orange, tropical fruits. Hoppy; grassy and piney hops. Malty base; sweet malts and caramel. Fruity citrus and hoppy throughout. Liked this a lot. In great condition. Very Nice beer! (2010-02)

Cask at The Bell in Waltham st Lawrence. Beguiled by the sultry pump clip. Ultra pale beer. Brilliant balance though. Raspy hop. Citrus and bitter.

On tap somewhere! Pale gold beer. Light airy and crisp palate. Very light fresh crisp hops. Aromatic light grassy hops. Delicious! Grapefruit, orange and pine too! Finishes semi dry.

Handpull at the Spoons in Wimbledon. Earthy floral nose with some moss and zest in the nose. Tiniest haze, straw golden colour, thin White head, good lace. Lovely hoppy taste with honey, dandilion and steel. Well balanced and quaffable. Lovely beer! Now all I need is some sunshine!

cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 1/03/10. Deep gold with a slight white head. Peach and apricot aroma with some with fruity hops. Sweet malts in the flavour, balanced by citrus hops and a decent dry finish. Good.

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Perfect blond beer with good hops on the finish that tingle the tongue. So quaffable as to be nearly unture. An almost perfect beer for me, but I would want a few more Chinooks thrown in to be really good. Still I love it. Had a few pints of it.

Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton ( regular Tuesday pop out). A light gold beer with a whitish head and lacing. Lovely hoppy aroma with tropical fruits and lime jelly. It’s the same in the mouth. Great hops and a nice body. A really good tasty fresh beer.

Hand pulled cask at JDW Watford. Every once and a while you chance upon a presentation of cask beer that it is almost impossible to tear yourself away from. I’m now on my 4th pint of this beer which seems to be getting better by the gulp. No kidding, it’s taking a good 3 minutes for a pint to settle to an amazing clear straw yellow colour with a thick white collar (without a sparkler on the pump). Cascade and chinook hops are shining through in aroma and flavour. You wouldn’t call this an aggressively hopped beer but it’s fresh vitality is sending my tongue into spasms. There are 3 other scoops available here but I don’t give a s**t. Thank Christ I don’t have to go back to work today!

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Straw coloured with a dense white head; fruity apricot aroma; grainy flavour with more apricot fruit, and a syrupy, smooth texture that reminds me of a European Strong Lager type; the finish is dry with some gentle bitterness from English hops.
