Tap at revolution. Saw on new Brewsters mmenu that nicely shows all their seasonals and which ones are currently on. Amazing how many beers they have on through the year. Kudos for keeping the flame. I don’t see a lot of reason to oak an IPA. Not much added vs. a Curly Horse. patricks110 (2673) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 22, 2012
Had at the Camra Calgary festival. Pours a bright amber/orange body with a thin wisp of off white head. No carbonation in the body nor the mouthfeel. The nose is sweet and mildly hopped with a few citrus notes, spices and earthy notes. The flavor has nice light caramel malts with a hint of floral and citrus hop flavors with mild bitterness. Lacking of body and an overall oomph in the mouthfeel. overall, good but off. reebtogi (6385) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 21, 2012
Pint on tap at the Brewsters Oliver Square location pours a pale amber color with a small white head that leaves a few spots of lacing. Aroma is light caramel and citrus and grass. Taste is light caramel malty sweetness with a bold citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation leaving a nice feeling on the palate. A nice IPA that is recommended for others in the Edmonton area to sample.
