Rating #2693 - 2016.07.28 - Unsure why this has been missed until now. Clear pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fades quickly. Aroma is caramel, biscuit, grass Taste is light, grainy with a lingering sweetness into a smooth, and rather refreshing finish. Medium carbonation, lighter body. Bland sweet malts and sulphur aroma. Also corn amd rice adjunct smells. Taste is bland light hops with slight honey and a basic hop character with little to no complexity. Tap at Brewsters Alberta. Pours clear pale gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is Pils malt, light spicy hops, and clean. Flavor is malty with light hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. northropfrye (3643) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 23, 2012
Clear golden colour with white head. Kind of nutty flavour. Watery, but a bit of sweetness and yeast flavour. Okay.

Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton. Poured a pale golden color with small white head and no lacing. Aroma is of light hops. Taste is undesirable hop bitterness. Light body and decent carbonation. This beer is slightly above what the macros offer. Powertrip (1000) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 27, 2010
Poured slight dark yellow and quite clear. Nose has fresh buttered white bread, candy floss, dusty clothes. Taste has more bread notes, celery, hints of vanilla, and mild hop attributes. Finish is medium-long with some bitterness. Touch over-carbonated but palate is smooth. Typical lager and not even remotely the worst I’ve ever tasted. Clear yellow appearance. Little aroma but what is there is of a standard lager. Tastes of peanuts and light bitter hops. A little more to it than expected. VertBaconStrips (2389) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - JUN 14, 2009
This beer, served by our less than attentive waitress, looked nearly identical to the Czech Pils in colour from here, just slightly darker. Solid gold brew with near zero white cap. Aroma is mainly grainy but there wasn’t much else that stood out. The beer had that watered down feel to it. Taste was average with some notable hops early on, lemon and grass with a slight sourness. Mouthfeel was, meh. Too fizzy, OK bitterness early on but the oberabundance of carbonation nagged at me. I don’t like the taste of the hops either. A touch of malt hangs around. This didn’t really give me what I wanted for a lager. Overall it’s drinkable and totally inoffensive but boring and absolutely forgettable.
