On tap, while on vacation, at the brewpub in Edmonton (south side), Alberta. Billed simply as a seasonal "brown ale," so I really didn’t know where to categorize this beer. Pours clear, brown-copper with no head and some tan lacing. Aroma: molasses, nuts, dark dried fruits (all fragrant). Flavor: the above, but more subdued. Mouthfeel: light-bodied; thin and watery. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 28, 2011
Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton many years ago. Pour was a light brown color with beige head and some lacing. Aromas of roasted malts and nuts. Taste was roasted malts and nuts with a light hoppy finish. This was one of the best seasonals that Brewsters offered at the time.
