On tap at Arnos arms. Medium amber ruby brown with a residing tan foam that lasts forever. Scent is medium notes of caramel malt. Taste is generous bitter/amber ale with bitterness from hops. Finish is consistent. Very good.

Floral hops, grain, citrus fruit, orange peel, pine. Clear amber, small, off-white head. Light bitter. Bitter citrus fruits continue, more peel, pine, pale grain malts, straw, soft carbonation, medium bodied. OK Amber. Keg at brewery, Peckham Rye.

Leighton (23090) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2016
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours clear amber-gold with a dense, creamy tan head. The aroma has notes of damp earth, toasted pine, grains, old orange rind. Light sweet flavour with more damp earth character, soggy leaves, old pine, grains, some bitter grass, light metallic notes. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation and velvety texture. Finishes with continuing earthy notes, bitter leaves, some lightly tangy berries, mellow grass and pine, wood, toasted grains, bitter husk, leather. Unfortunately, it’s really not very enjoyable.

Nocturne (2238) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2016
Cask at Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Dark copper shade with off-white foam. Deep, earthy taste with lots of hedgerow fruits. Rye spiciness comes through as it finishes. More interesting than I was expecting.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a deep reddish amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish.

Bottle brought by Nelson. Reddish brown, quite thick white foam. Solid example, some crisp toasty malt, medium quantities of fruity hop. Bitter finish. Drinks nicely. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle, many thanks to Scopey. Frothy beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Clear amber coloured body, a slight haze to the last pour. Caramel, bread and orange on the nose. Fine blended taste of brown malts like bread, nuts and caramel, together with red oranges. Decent malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. A very well partner to my New Year lunch (Tromsø 03.01.2016).

Skinnyviking (9806) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2015
33 cl. bottle at the courtesy of Finn. Low fluffy white lasting head. Clear dark brown body. Sweet peaches oranges aroma and flavor with a little caramelmel as well as a dry hoppiness, a low carbonation and a long finish.

Flaske 330ml. Gave fra Scopey. Mørk amber. Middels høyt med tett lacing. God fyldig fruktig aroma. Smaken har et behagelig fyldig fruktpreg. Bra! Delt med Skinnyviking.
