473 mL Can. Pale gold body with a 1-finger foamy head settling to a thin but tenacious layer leaving foamy ribs on the glass as it is sipped. Aroma of light sweet malts with pronounced notes of yeast and bread crust, and grassy / resiny hops. Sweet light malts with a lemon hint dominate in the flavor, a sharp lemon /grapefruit rind aftertaste, and lemon rind tapering off to its outer peel in the finish. A summer picnic beer. UPDATED: OCT 17, 2017 bottle/can. Poured clear gold with a nice laced white head. Sweet and crisp grainy aroma. Light-medium bodied, smooth carbonation with a clean mouthfeel. Flavour of cereal grains with bready malts, buttery and a bit tart. Subliminal64 (279) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 28, 2015
Was not disappointed with this brew. Goes down smooth with little aftertaste. The hops are present, but not overpowering.
Will purchase again, but not on a regular basis.

Can from the brewery. Clear and bright straw gold with a thick and creamy white head. Aroma and flavour are both on style for a German pils - clean grainy malt, grassy hops with a lemony note in the finish. A touch too sweet on the front of the palate, perhaps, but dries out well in the finish. Nice mouthfeel as well, medium weight and properly crisp. Quite well done. Part of the Waterloo 2013 Spring pack at the LCBO. Pours a yellow straw colour with a foamy white head that gives out dirty lacing. Mild cereal grain malt nose with just a tad of Saaz hop. The hop appears a little more in the taste, adding a spicy bite to it at the start and finishing on the malt, lingering a bit. Nice crisp, medium-bodied brew that is pretty refreshing. Quite a nice Canadian pilsner, that does not have the rusty hop that most European Pils have.

A very palatable pils that pours clear light gold with a moderate white top and good lacing. Aroma is straw and bready malts. Taste is light and easy drinking with a light malt profile. Would like to see it more pronounced. Still good just not exceptional. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAR 2, 2013
Clear golden classic pilsner. Frothy white head. Crisp malt wheat flavour. Refreshing beer. Little sweet. Enjoyable beer. shaynsawchuk (681) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 19, 2013
473 mL can. Pours a clear straw with a huge puffy white head. Clean, malty nose with cereal, lemon, honey and gentle hop aromas. Sweet but crisp with a touch of hop bitterness. A real quality pilsner. pootzboy (1834) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - APR 15, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2018 473ml can: Pours a clear gold with a 2 finger puffy cap which reduce to a surface foam that laces the glass. Fairly well carbonated. Aroma is faint good bready malts and some northern brewer hops. Flavour is lightly malty with decent hop bittering to balance…fast clean dry finish. A serviceable all gristed malt Canadian premium Pilsner – certainly thinner and not as good as their founder’s Pilsner but better than the brick has brewed for a long while. ....updated Mar 6 2018.....some quality improvements....longer lasting puffy cap and sturdier mouth feel since I last sampled it....improvement is always welcome. 97hill (253) - - JUL 31, 2013
part of the seasonal 6 pack;
pours nicely decent head that lasts
saaz hops aroma but not as much on the palate; tastes similar to many Euro beers (Gosser etc)
way better than the run of the mill "macro" brews, drinkable just not memorable
