22oz bottle 4/30/14 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-40° in Shaker-Pours a clear light amber with a small off white ring for a head. Aroma of hops, malt, and slight yeast. Taste of hops, yeast, and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and not too shabby. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2014
6.25% Alcohol. Pours a very light hazed orange color with a very low, white, very dense head. Aroma has a strong grapefruit, modest pine hop bitterness, a light funky nose with some light hay, sweet malty notes. Flavor starts off with a good mix of lemon and grapefruit melding nicely with a bitter biting pine, followed by a light orange and caramel sweetness from the malt. Body is modest in density with a low, fine carbonation rate with a slight dryness to it from the strong bitterness. Overall an enjoyable beer. The nose has a light funk in it from the yeast but this fails to show up in the flavor. Enjoyable beer and look forward to trying other Brickstone bottles. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 12, 2014
