Golden copper with a small head. The aroma says rye right off the bat. There is also a strong hop presence. The flavor is similar, with a pretty decent balance. Really good stuff.
Very tasty rye IPA with a nice floral complexity on the nose. Pours orange with hues of yellow and red, almost no head, and has a medium dry finish. crossovert (13747) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Not as intensely hoppy as I was hoping for but a very solid malt bill makes this one a winner. GranvilleTim (1857) - Granville, Illinois, USA - APR 30, 2010
Yellow pour with a white head. The rye aroma is dominant in this brew, balanced with some grapefruit/citrus hops. Taste is a great balance between the rye and hops. I like this beer. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - APR 25, 2010
hazy deep yellow, light white head, some clingy lace. citrus hops and malt in the nose. malt backbone in the flavor, very entertaining bitter citric hop. medium bodied, great bitter finish. right in my wheelhouse. the big hop bitterness makes me long for more. since it is half-price growler refill day, i fill my growler with this.
