2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sampler, from 2001 notes. When I had it, I was a little more impressed, perhaps because even since then, my experience with "amber ales" has been of the Michelob variety. I found it to be rather smooth, with a definite hop presence that does not linger aftward. So it had a good flavor to me.
Not a giant fan of this amber ale. Malty and musty. Grassy hops and basic caramel sweetness. Tried for the first time with Jess at the brewery in 2007 on our first road trip. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2011
on tap-pours an off white head with trailing lace and amber color. Aroma is soft medium malt-peat. Taste is medium malt/cocoa, secondary earthy hops bits. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 28, 2010
(Draught) Pours a murky amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, earth, and toffee. Flavor is dirty with caramel malt, earth, grass, and minerals that finished dry. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Bricktown Brewing Company--Copperhead Amber Ale--2000 12 oz. Bottle. 4.00% ABV. 12 IBU’s. (3.25 / 5.0) Light sediment and head. Lightly hazy rich amber color. Mild fruit malt front. Light crisp dry amber ale fruit malt flavor with touch of toasted caramel. Clean refreshing end. Light but tasty. Sampled 12/9/2000. lumpsowers (287) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 18, 2009
Cloudy amber pour, low head and lace. Low sweet aroma. Dusty sour fruits, woody caramel. Nice carb, disappointing low flavor. Light piny hops and some candy. Fair.

Aroma: 5/10; Appearance: 6/10; Flavor: 5/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 10/20
Clear amber coloured body with an orange tint and light off-white head. Aroma of malt, light english hops, some toffee and light fruits. Medium-bodied; Acidic fruityness up front with no malt or hops behind. Aftertaste puckering and sour - some sweetness..wierd for the style. Overall, lacking - everyway possible...bad start (this was my first beer) for Bricktown. I sampled this beer on draught at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City, OK on 17-November-2005. Pours a clear amber hue with a slight head. Couldn’t smell very much at first, it was served way too cold ; malty sweet when it warmed up. Light to meduim bodied with nice carbonation. Taste is carmely sweet malts. Barely noticeable hops to finish.
The favorite beer here at the brewery. Not too bad.

On tap at the brewery, poured a copper color. Chewy mouthfeel with a very dry malty character and subtle hop bitterness.
