Draft… Pours murky and dark brown or black with a small, creamy, mocha-colored head. The aroma is fantastic, boasting rich, creamy mocha. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor features light-roast coffee and dark chocolate, but is thin, watery and doesn’t deliver on the promises made by the aroma. Falls flat in the lightly dry, spuper-roasty finish. kerenmk (4900) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 11, 2016
On tap at Pies & Pints, Charleston, WV, 8.5.16. Black. Coffee roastiness aroma of cocoa and a little vanilla. Smooth and bitter and a little sourish in the mouth - somewhat like cold brew coffee. Full body, a little sour coffee finish. tia (2228) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - APR 10, 2016

Sampled at the 2012 American Craft Beer Festival. Pours dark and has a lot of coffee in addition to the roasted malts. Not bad. Nickls (2555) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Tap. Khaki tan head on a deep dark brown that nears on black. Lots of coffee grind aromas, bitter dark chocolate, and slight dark fruit sweetness in the aroma. Flavor is very coffee driven at first but chocolate becomes a clearer flavor throughout. Medium softer body. Solid. JStax (6999) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 15, 2012
Poured on draft at pies and pints. Appearance is a dark brown with a thin, khaki head. Retention is a little lacking, but, that’s the only thing I can find to mark against the appearance. Aroma is definitely filled with coffee. Roasty and just slightly bitter. Taste is medium sweetness and mild bitterness. Mouthfeel thick, with not much in the way of carbonation. Finish is long and slightly bitter. Good overall beer.
