laiti (8513) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 1, 2015
33 cl bottle @ hotel room, San Diego. Bottled 1.4.2015. Aroma has grassy hops and funky yeasty notes. Also urinal. Flavour has biscuits, cereal, urinal tones, grassy and grapefruity hops. Unusual, more sweet than Nøgne version.

Bottle. Aroma is green onion, herbs, light grapefruit. Notes of grass.

This is not normally a style that suites me well because it is a oxymoron of a style "hoppy" saison. But I’ m happy that this actually works for a change. The yeast is alive and well and gives a mile spicy note. The hops show herbal and grassy notes that turns dry in texture. Body is medium with pale malts and fruit from either the yeast or hops, not sure what element gives that element. Damn, overall pretty tasty. I may not ever get to try the other version of this brew but no matter, I enjoyed this well enough.

12oz bottle from 7-Eleven, shared by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is pretty busy... I’m Getting onion, lime, wet blanket, tropical fruit. Flavor is dry, oak, mild funk, onion and tropical fruit. Grassy bitter in the finish.

mansquito (6886) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUL 20, 2015
New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($5.50): pours lightly hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, yeast, some basement funk it seems, and maybe some perfume. Taste is light and refreshing. Nice hoppy tanginess. Dry finish. Dry finish and lightly hoppy aftertaste lingers for a bit. Hoppy yet delicate. I like it.

bottleforager (3208) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Pours a medium golden color with two fingers of white foam. Nice aromas of tangerine, candied orange peel, mango and earthy peppered yeast. Palate follows with a dry rustic saison backbone, nice yeast profile, layers of tropical fruit forward hops, citrus, floral fieldgrass and a lingering bitterness draws out the finish.

Desverger (12907) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 1, 2015
[email protected], Copenhagen (Nøgne Ø Takeover 24/06/2015) - yellow pour with white head. Citrus fruity and grassy aroma and taste, lots of floral hoppy nuances going on, yeast, straw, lemon, hay, very nice hoppy Saison, prefer this to the other Saison. Lovely.

12 bottle from City Beer. Pours cloudy golden with a thick white head and a fruit and yeast aroma. There is a fruity slightly sour pale malt flavor with a huge yeast presence and a bitter finish. Very crisp with lots of taste.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2015 Has a hazy golden colour and a decent off white head which hangs around nicely. I really like aroma, it?s quite citrusy and fruity with a little bit of funk. The citrus taste also comes through, a bit like grapefruit for me. Good mouthfeel which matches well to the beer. Overall, I?d happily buy one again.

The best India Saison I have tasted to date. I usually find hoppy saisons to be a bit strange but this is perfect. The yeasty saison characteristics blend so well with the tropical/citrus fruity hops. Very refreshing whilst still remaining complex. Drinks way to easy for the ABV. Amazing creation from Bridge Road/Nogne. So much flavour!
