COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bridge Road Brewers have created their own take on a more traditional beer style - India Pale Ale, originally a heavily hopped beer developed for the long haul from England to India by boat. Fresh hops were added to the barrel and the alcohol was bolstered to ensure the beer went the distance on the high seas. Bling, is a huge beer, with all the bells and whistles. This ale is armed to the teeth with hops and studded with 24 carrot modified malts. At Bridge Road we’ve gone all out to make an IPA that screams hops and malt but still keeps balance in mind. Try matching this beer it with anything spicy or enjoy this malt and hop mouth full on its own. We love it, and hope you can too.

Clear amber/copper appearance with long lasting dense off-white head head. Great lacing. Hop, malt and caramel aromas. Low carbonation. Very smooth palate. Light hops dominated by biscuit, malt and caramel flavours. Very little fruit influences or bitterness. Slightly one-dimensional but very well done. Long malty finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 330ml (bottled 07.06.2017). A little bit hazy, copper colour with ecru colour head. Hoppy in aroma with resin character and caramel malty note behind. Caramel in taste with low to medium, resin bitterness. Beer is smooth, delicate, light body but excluding caramel nothing happens in the beer. Average IPA definitely in east coast style.

330ml bottle. Pours a amber colour with a thin pale tan head. Aroma: malt, citrus, grapefruit, peaches, toffee notes. Nice aroma. Taste: biscuity malt, caramel malt, citrus, grapefruit. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Mild sweetness, followed by a lingering bitterness. Well balanced. Malts more dominant than I would have expected. Easy to drink and quite tasty. Would happily drink this again.

Taster on tap at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Aroma of grapefruit, wet towel, grain, lemmon. Pours dark amber, orange with a yellowish white head. Taste is not extreme rich, yet i like it. Some fruits, lemmon, apple? Thicker mouthfeel than expected, not an annoying bitter finish.

Good, flavoursome IPA. Nice balance of bitterness. Not quite a session beer even with its 5.8% alcohol content. Enjoyed the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark orangey brown with a nice white head.Full on hop aroma of tropical/citrus fruit. Good malt balance and slight bitter aftertaste that makes for a very drinkable IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[email protected] Hobbit Tasting. Slightly hazy deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, some tropical fruits, mild resin and wood as well as some bready malts. Flavour is tropical fruits, some grassy bitterness and mild crisp biscuity and toffeeish malts to it. Quite standard and no flaws.

330ml bottle BB 2 Sep 18. Hazy amber with sizeable beige head. The aroma has citrus, passionfruit, blueberry, caramel malt, quite some catty character. The taste has plenty of caramel and toasty malt, with a big hop assault of grapefruit, passionfruit, paw paw, blueberry, pineapple. Light bodied, bright and lightly acidic. Fairly solid IPA.

Lovely pine smell. Clear golden colour. Nice medium bitterness with little sweetness. Quite delicate but still bitter enough to call an IPA. One of the better moderate alcohol IPAs.
