Pyobon (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 8, 2014
(Bottle) Hazy amber with thin white head. Excellent citrus and pine aroma. Light body with loose and fluffy carbonation. Flavour is light malts and delicate fruit to start, develops some fairly subtle bitterness at end. Overall a nice easy drinking interesting but not challenging pale ale.

Bottle. A hazy amber-orange with a fine white head. The aroma is fresh and fruity with notes of peach, pineapple, and citrus. The flavour reveals more malt, but with a great crisp hop character. Good Australian pale ale.

Cloudy gold with small off-white head. Very inviting aroma, with huge passionfruit, citrus, mango, floral notes and bread. Unfortunately the taste doesn’t live up to the smell. It’s not at all bad but tastes a bit watered down. Passionfruit, mandarin, floral and grassy hops are all there. Not bad as a session beer I guess.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2014 A very light pale ale. A slight tropical fruit hop profile and a bit watery. I think this beer is designed to not offend people who normally drink lagers. Pretty uninteresting.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2015 bottle at rum bar. A pleasant enough American pale ale. not ground breaking but it’s enjoyable. ./// Rerating on tap at Sage restaurant. got a second glass on the house! Excellent aroma, mild bitterness, a fairly sessionable nice APA.

Very drinkable pale ale, the malt character sits just right with the combination of hops. Very well balanced pale ale.

Bottle. This is a really good ’go-to’ beer when I need something with flavour but I’m not looking for something new. Worth trying!

sm89walt (2079) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2014
330ml bottle. Poured a clear, effervescent golden amber with a small white to off-white head of strong retention leaving a heavy lace. Bright and fresh aromas of grapefruit, peach, tangerine and mango. Biscuity pale malts in the mid palate complement a marmalade and pithy citrus bitterness leading into the finish. Light to medium body, medium carbonation and soft intensity bittersweet malt/hop finish. An attractively crisp and refreshingly balanced session style pale ale.

Smells great but the flavour is a little boring. After the first smell I was expecting more. Not bad though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
