Sweet fruity aroma, cloudy gold in colour with a thin white head. A very pleasant surprise, crisp hops flavour not a strong malt taste. I like it and will definitely be drinking it again.

Pot at The Public Brewery Croydon Victoria. Pours clear Amber with minimal head. Low carbonation. Fragrant aromas of melon, passion fruit, sweet citrus and faint pine. Flavour has yeasty character with toffee malt. Taste is well balanced between sweet and bitter. Palate is light and full with some lingering bitterness on mid and back palate. Overall a good west coast pale ale. Plenty of character and very drinkable. Would recommend this.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 330 ml bottle. Appearance is cloudy opaque dull gold with huge frothy white and persistent head. Aromas very hoppy, but uniquely caramel, toffee and malty over some fruitiness. Taste is similar, toffee, caramel, rye. Sweet, little bitter. Smooth creamy mouthfeel.

From bottle in tapered shaker. Pours amber with a frothy, sustained head and fruity hop aroma. Smooth taste with zesty finish thanks to carbonation. Sessionable.

[email protected] Hobbit Tasting. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some grainy and mild sweet malty notes. Flavour is tropical fruits, sweet malts, mild toffee as well as some herbal and bready notes. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherwise it’s nice and refreshing.

Bottle from bws broadbeach, australia. Deep golden color, white head. Nice aroma has mix of malts and tropical fruity notes, hops. Malty body, not much bitterness, nice fruity notes. Just a little bit too malty but good anyway.

Well rounded and balanced flavours of hops with citrus and aromas of pine. Low on malt medium on hops. A mild tasting full flavour beer. A favourite.

Citrus pine aroma in a golden amber pour. Textbook hop malt balance with light fruity body and laid back finish. One of the best examples of the style from Australia.
