Bridge Road Brewers have created their own take on a more traditional beer style - India Pale Ale, originally a heavily hopped beer developed for the long haul from England to India by boat. Fresh hops were added to the barrel and the alcohol was bolstered to ensure the beer went the distance on the high seas. Bling, is a huge beer, with all the bells and whistles. This ale is armed to the teeth with hops and studded with 24 carrot modified malts. At Bridge Road we’ve gone all out to make an IPA that screams hops and malt but still keeps balance in mind. Try matching this beer it with anything spicy or enjoy this malt and hop mouth full on its own. We love it, and hope you can too.

Actually doesn't taste half as hoppy as its Bling Bling big brother. A bit tarter in the citrus taste. Not carbonated. Thick foam atop but laces. Mouthfeel is a bit sharper but it has an almost minty edge. Flicks back of the tongue with expected IPA finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 330mL bottle (bottled 28/10/16). Hazy orange with off white head. Sticky light caramel malt with piney hops, hint of citrus.

Good, flavoursome IPA. Nice balance of bitterness. Not quite a session beer even with its 5.8% alcohol content. Enjoyed the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark orangey brown with a nice white head.Full on hop aroma of tropical/citrus fruit. Good malt balance and slight bitter aftertaste that makes for a very drinkable IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[email protected] Hobbit Tasting. Slightly hazy deep golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, some tropical fruits, mild resin and wood as well as some bready malts. Flavour is tropical fruits, some grassy bitterness and mild crisp biscuity and toffeeish malts to it. Quite standard and no flaws.

330ml bottle BB 2 Sep 18. Hazy amber with sizeable beige head. The aroma has citrus, passionfruit, blueberry, caramel malt, quite some catty character. The taste has plenty of caramel and toasty malt, with a big hop assault of grapefruit, passionfruit, paw paw, blueberry, pineapple. Light bodied, bright and lightly acidic. Fairly solid IPA.

Lovely pine smell. Clear golden colour. Nice medium bitterness with little sweetness. Quite delicate but still bitter enough to call an IPA. One of the better moderate alcohol IPAs.

KeefOz (1840) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUN 9, 2016
Poured a hazy dark amber with an enormous (4+ finger) beige head that retained well and laced OK. Carbonation low to moderate and fine. Aroma strongly of pine and grapefruit and with earthy hints. Taste is strongly of grapefruit with a nice malt balance; although taste is not as powerful as aroma it is still a very flavoursome beer. Light body. Crips and smooth with a lingering finish that is a nice strong bitterness balanced by the malt. Nice.

On tap at the Local Taphouse Sydney, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and resinous notes. Flavour brings out dry bready malts and some light resinous hops. Fairly malty for a regular IPA, but it’s still well-balanced. Good.

Tap at roundhouse taproom, hong kong. Hazy amber color, white head. Aroma has caramel notes and hops. Sweet malty body with hops. More amber than ipa but ok.

Amber, hazy. Thin head. Very toasty nose. Described as English IPA but smells more like Centennial to me. Taste is grapefruit rind bitterness with toasty, citrusy aromatics.
