COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bridge Road Brewers have created their own take on a more traditional beer style - India Pale Ale, originally a heavily hopped beer developed for the long haul from England to India by boat. Fresh hops were added to the barrel and the alcohol was bolstered to ensure the beer went the distance on the high seas. Bling, is a huge beer, with all the bells and whistles. This ale is armed to the teeth with hops and studded with 24 carrot modified malts. At Bridge Road we’ve gone all out to make an IPA that screams hops and malt but still keeps balance in mind. Try matching this beer it with anything spicy or enjoy this malt and hop mouth full on its own. We love it, and hope you can too.

Bottle. Poured into the Spiegelau glass that came with the beer, pours a nice golden colour with a solid 1 finger head. Aroma. Aroma of sweet and juicy fresh citrus. Taste. A strong pine flavour up front, followed by a nice mintiness. Overall. Quite a good beer full of flavour yet very mild at the same time, very unique for it’s kind.

This is a great example of an IPA. Full of hoppy flavour, pours a dark golden colour. Retains its head throughout. A very enjoyable beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Dark red/copper from the bottle with a thick persistent head. Slight malty aroma and biscuity and raisin notes rounded out by a mild cereal bitterness. Pleasant mouthfeel and minimal carbonation makes this a reasonable enough example of the style. I would not describe it as heavily hopped compared to more recent popular interpretations.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 hazy dark orange/red with very thick, lush head. Almost like it's on nitro. Aroma is dank hops and dark malt. Taste is big hops too, sticky, sweet, citrus and pine. No flavour as a stand out. Seems to taste of rye too. Really great IPA.

Clear amber/copper appearance with long lasting dense off-white head head. Great lacing. Hop, malt and caramel aromas. Low carbonation. Very smooth palate. Light hops dominated by biscuit, malt and caramel flavours. Very little fruit influences or bitterness. Slightly one-dimensional but very well done. Long malty finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 330ml (bottled 07.06.2017). A little bit hazy, copper colour with ecru colour head. Hoppy in aroma with resin character and caramel malty note behind. Caramel in taste with low to medium, resin bitterness. Beer is smooth, delicate, light body but excluding caramel nothing happens in the beer. Average IPA definitely in east coast style.

330ml bottle. Pours a amber colour with a thin pale tan head. Aroma: malt, citrus, grapefruit, peaches, toffee notes. Nice aroma. Taste: biscuity malt, caramel malt, citrus, grapefruit. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Mild sweetness, followed by a lingering bitterness. Well balanced. Malts more dominant than I would have expected. Easy to drink and quite tasty. Would happily drink this again.

Taster on tap at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Aroma of grapefruit, wet towel, grain, lemmon. Pours dark amber, orange with a yellowish white head. Taste is not extreme rich, yet i like it. Some fruits, lemmon, apple? Thicker mouthfeel than expected, not an annoying bitter finish.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bottled 28/10/16). Hazy orange with off white head. Sticky light caramel malt with piney hops, hint of citrus.

Good, flavoursome IPA. Nice balance of bitterness. Not quite a session beer even with its 5.8% alcohol content. Enjoyed the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
