2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Somewhat herbal aroma. Medium body, carbonation is a little much. Some chestnut accents although not as distinct as in French chestnut varities. No bitterness whatsoever. 100912
Bottle 330ml. Gold colour with white, very nice looking, head, good lacing. Pilsner notes in aroma, a little bit sweet, no hops. Classic in taste but it’s too small malty, too small hoppy, it’s similar to concern beer. Medium carbonated, low bitterness, medium light, drinkable but generally nothing special. Very clear and light appearance similar to champagne/cider. Aroma of light malt and chestnut with chestnut being the prominent flavour. Crisp clean finish with not much bitterness. Interesting take on a Pilsner.

Hazy pale straw with OK head.
Slight nutty woody aroma.
Mild bitterness with sweetish body and finish.

Pours a hazy straw body, dense sort of white head.
Light aroma - cereal, bready pilsner sort of malts, slight touch of floral honey & hop undertone.
Texture is interesting - there’s a distinct creamy, slickness about it that adds extra weight to an otherwise crisp light bodied beer.
Bread crust malts continue on the body, touch of lightly toasted nut with floral, slightly leafy hop character sneaking through lending a mild sort of bitterness to proceedings & a clean dry finish.
An enjoyable pilsner!
Really nicely surprised. Subtly, tasty and a good strength! Surprised it’s not rated higher

I couldn’t detect any nutty notes but this is nonetheless a pretty decent Aussie-brewed pilsner in the German style. Light pale malts and a pleasant herbal dry hop bitterness. Nice crispy effervescent light-medium bodied palate. Pours clear bubbly pale yellow with a lasting white head. (330ml bottle - no BB date). drjoeng (1418) - SINGAPORE - AUG 30, 2016
5%ABV. Pilsner. KeefOz (1923) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUN 6, 2016
Poured out gold 8ºSRM.
Nose has some clean beery aromas. Light pine.
Mouthfeel is beery. Lightly carbonated and light. Palate has pale malt, waterchestnut sweetness, like the local waterchestnut beverage. No hops except for vague wood-like astringency at the end.
Finish is light and beery.
Poured a crystal clear pale golden colour with a one- to two-finger bright white foamy head that retained very well and laced well. Carbonation very high with medium sized bubbles. Aroma of sweetish malt and no obvious hops. Taste of slightly sweet malt and a hint of nuts and no hops bitterness. Light body. Crisp, smooth, clean and refreshing with a very lager-like finish. More a lager than a pilsner. mcberko (19173) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2016
On tap at Bridge Road, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of grassiness. Flavour is crisp, with maybe some of the toasted chestnuts upfront. Dry biscuity finish. Not the most interesting but it’s clean. Ngejo (1000) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - APR 28, 2016
Bottle. Hazy, orange, frothy, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, & bitter finish.
