330ml bottle. Pours a brownish dark amber with a off cream head. Aroma: roasted malt, toffee, mild caramel notes. Not overly aromatic. Taste: roasted malt, toffee, caramel, very mild raisin. UPDATED: DEC 28, 2017 On tap and then from a bottle, just a few days apart. Redish brown like a house brick. Off white head, can pour quite frothily if not careful. Large aroma of pine, citrus, passionfruit. I found the malt first providing a nice caramel/toffee backbone to then launch the hops. My drinking partner was the reverse - noticed hops then the malt. Either way, enough complexity to satisfy most people and not too much for the initiate. No idea it was 7.5% at time of drinking. Very smooth. Outstanding Christmas beer for a hot climate country. Dark red, hints of caramel ruby. Long lasting light tan head. Great lacing.
Nose is pine, grapefruit, tropical fruits, and big caramel body.
Taste is caramel, roasted malt, grain, pine, and grapefruit. A little malt forward but all good.
Hints of acidic coffee in the back. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Should be more frequent than once a year. '

Pours a cloudy brown with thin white head. Aroma of caramely hops and a boozy Christmas cake. Taste of bitterness builds and builds, and dark fruity undertones. Thick and luscious in the mouth. Very merry indeed.
