UPDATED: AUG 13, 2017 Good Porter. Aromas of chocolate nutty cocoa and roast. Taste is the same and lends itself to a very drinkable. Little bit heavy on the chocolate but sometimes that’s what your quenching so fits the bill perfectly macca147 (231) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 31, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a ink black with a thin beige head, that dissipates quickly. Aroma: roasted malt, liquorice, maple, raisin notes. Taste: Roasted malt, bitter cocoa, very mid raisins, mild vanilla. Basic flavour palate, but works well. Thin body. Moderate carbonation. A bit watery. Mildly bitter at the backend of the palate. A good standard porter, nothing amazing, but very good for a standard porter. pictoman (1149) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 15, 2017

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey & Raphaela’s place. Thanks Alexey. Dark brown to black. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, some roast, sweetish, sourish hint, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Decent.

Hobbit Tasting. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolate, some ripe fruits, mild roasted and ashy notes with some slight liquorice too. Flavour is roasted and ashy with some ripe fruits, mild wood as well as some slight toasted notes.
A fine porter being big on the sweet chocolatey roasty malts with hints of dark berries, nuts and coffeebeans. A mild earthy dry hop bitterness at the finish. Lovely smooth flattish palate of light-medium body. Pours opaque dark brown with a dense tan head showing good duration and lace. (330ml bottle). On the hand pump at the Keg & Brew at Surry Hills. Pours a chocolate brown colour with a light tan-coloured head. The aroma is of chocolate and roasted malt, as is the flavour, with some residual sweetness. Overall, a reasonably good quality beer. Dervock (1379) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 26, 2016
Bottle - pours black with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate and a flowery sweetness. Taste is sweet up front with a drying lingering finish. KeefOz (1862) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - JUN 10, 2016
Poured an opaque black with a very slight mahogany edge tint and a one- to two- finger light tan dense foam head that retained very well but laced poorly. Aroma of light coffee, sweetness, vanilla and dark earthy malt. taste initially of strongly roasted coffee that subsides plus caramel sweetness and vanilla with a low bitterness. Medium body, a bit thin for a stout. Smooth but not so creamy (quite a fizzy mouthfeel for a stout) and with sweet vanilla on the finish. Nice.
