COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop IPA, the second in our series, highlights the character of a locally developed hop variety, Ella. We have added a generous amount of Ella whole hop flowers to this brew, both in the kettle and the conditioning tank. It is our attempt to show you the true character of this hop.

Super smooth ipa. If it were a salesman it’d convince me to buy volcano insurance. Damn ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

More floral and fruity than the summer, beautifully subtle and balanced but still not as resinous and bitter as the modern IPA. A nice change. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear orange appearance with light caramel coloured head. Good lacing. Prominent sweet citrus aromas. Sweet palate leads to light hop bitterness. Long grassy aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours orange/copper with thick white lasting head. Aroma of orange and spice. Sweet flavour balanced nicely with a good helping of these interesting hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Malrider69 (173) - Central Coast, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2016
Pours amber to straw colour with a solid white coloured head (looks good). There is a slight floral aroma and the taste dry and moderately bitter which is medium lasting on the palate. A reasonable session beer.

Shark_Pants (765) - AUSTRALIA - FEB 14, 2016
Hazy sunset orange with small tight white head. Incredible aromas of peaches and apricots with cantaloupe, kiwifruit and mandarin. The fruity taste isn’t quite as dominant as the smell, but contains cantaloupe, honeydew melon, some grapefruit on top of a caramel maltiness. Long dry and bitter finish. Medium bodied and slightly chewy. Elegant, rather than a punch in the face like some other IPAs.

jbruner (5274) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - OCT 29, 2015
Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with fluffy off-white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of resinous citrus notes, hint of grape, pineapple, and flowers. Taste follows, bit less than the nose, malty backbone. Mild bitterness that falls off quickly, solid beer.

330ml bottle at home (great Ned Kelly bottle top!). Amber with a decent white head (like all the beers in the single hop series). This one has grapefruit and orangey aromas on top of the caramel malt base. Palate is medium bodied and bittersweet with a pleasant balanced hop bitterness of good length. Nice.
