Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 16, 2013
0.33l bottle @ Henrik. This is a soft blurry honey golden colored beer, packed with small sediments and a medium sized white lasting top. It smells really sweet and fruity. Sticky ripe fruits, passion fruit and traces of cat piss. Almost lively on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is really soft oily. Grassy hoppy, with fruits and caramel. Really light drinkable. Ends mouthdrying. I think it’s OK, my girlfriend really really liked it! 08.03.2013

330 ml bottle, as Bridge Road Galaxy Single Hop IPA, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Hazy deep golden colour, huge white head. The aroma has distinct notes of Galaxy hops as expected - fruity, spicy and herbal. Woody and slightly roasty notes in the background. The flavour is surprisingly (for a beer this pale) roasty and woody, followed by spicy and herbal hops, with a bitter finish and aftertaste.

Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a clear deep orange/light body with a medium off-white creamy head of some substantion. Nose is strawberries, soft sweet malts, caramel, honey melon and hints of grass. Taste is grassy resinous notes with red fruits, tart berries and wood, with hints of caramel and pale malts as a solid back base. Medium body and carbonation. Solid, drinkable IPA on the malty side of things, especially considering the single hop thing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, mandarin orange and kiwi. Flavour is well balanced with notes of strong floral hops, sweet fruits, pine, herbs and sweetness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a clean, high bitter and fruity finish. I wish I could get this every day.
