COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The harvest has been hopped to the hilt using fresh hop cones straight from the nearby Rostrevor hop garden. The variety of hop is unique to the gardens research block. The variety was selected for "The harvest" due to its big orange and citrus aromas, with the fresh hop being added to the kettle as well as the conditioning tank. As for how the hop character translate into the beer, well open it and find out.

Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a thich white head that sticks around. Moderate carbonation. The nose is amazing, with a huge whack of passionfruit, papaya, melon and pepper. The taste is dominated by passionfruit, but a note of pine resin comes through too with moderate bitterness, before some lemon, spice and malt. Quite a clean finish, but leaves a light fruity aftertaste. Excellent Aussie pale ale.

Slightly hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has some soft citrus and sulfur, not over the top but not too enjoyable. Some nutty malt character in there too. Light mouthfeell, the malt comes through more that the hops which is strange for a supposably hoppy beer. Its definitely not cloying and could be something you could drinka lot of. ome interesting citrus and stonefruit flavours come through with some spicy esters. Seems a bit muddled. Pretty good but not the best from this brewer.

Hazy gold pour with small head. Very fresh aromas from the wet hops of dried apricots, nectarines, tangerine and passionfruit. The taste has a lot of apricot, orange zest, toasted bread. Enjoyable but doesn’t quite live up to the aroma.

330mL bottle 2012 harvest, pours a clear almost straw colour but the aroma is amazing.. smells like fresh cut grapefruit/mandarin/orange wow. Those aroma’s really flow through to the flavour and they all mingle well, very low level of pale malt flavour and this makes the hops shine! i see so much potential for this hop.

Had this on tap at the Wheatsheaf, Adleaide througha hopinator stuffed with an experimantal Australian hop. the aroma was big, herbal and fruity hop character with some quite complex floral notes too. A clean, quite pale in colour beer with the added hop hit from the hopinator. Nicely done!

Very spicy hoppy IPA without a good amount of thought put into the hop selection. Very grassy hop heavy and lacking the good fruit punch of a good American ipa ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong on hops, very floral aroma. Clear golden colour with lots of head. Some very nice fruit flavours, passion fruit mainly with bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours a pale yellow with solid head, plenty of carbonation. Fruits on the nose such as passionfruit, lychee. Fairly tasty with plenty of flavour, with light bitterness and body. Easy to do down, was hoping for a little more but all up its a pretty solid beer and is certainly very sessionable.

Deep brushy aromas of citrusy hops and a nice caramel malt background. Smells a dead ringer for Sierra Nevada PA. Flavor is really well balanced caramelly malt and citrusy hops. A little watery on the back, but a really solid beer. Immediately ordered another round for my colleagues and we’d run the bar out of it (and were quite dissapointed -which is the true test)
