Pours dark ruby amber with massive off white frother of a head. Aroma is of dark chocolate, raisins, and spices. Tastes just like the bottle describes. Has a great tart finish that is refreshing for such a hefty brew. rejtable (2690) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2015
Pours cola brown with limited head and barely any lacing. Nose is cola and maybe some dark fruit. Flavours are raisins, brown bread, fruit. Taste med/light sweet, light bitter. Lightish body for style with medium carbonation. shdougan (48) - Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, CANADA - DEC 17, 2014
Pours a dark ruby with a quickly disappearing off white head. Aromas of dark berries, dark chocolate, plum, raisin, and honey. Full bodied and very smooth. Had some slight roasted flavors alongside those familiar Belgian flavors North is known for. I loved this beer, and I love this Brewery. Another North Brewing homerun! Nothing beats sniffing the beer before looking at any of the brewer’s notes and smelling most or all of what was listed. Sexy as the night is long, this brew oozes good looks with a frothy off-white head and a dark ruby brown bod. North went ahead and listed everything in the nose and taste so no need to be repetitive. A great take on Belgian-ness, this brew is very sippable, hides its muscle (flavour-wise) and has a nice full and mid-soft feel. Glad to have another prize pig like this in the stable. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2014
[5928-20131019] Cask. Sour yeasty Belgian malt aroma. Hazy, brown amber body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Spicy celery malt flavour has a quick bitter yeast base. Medium-full body is bitter. Tasty. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7

Overall a very nice dark Belgian. Pours an interesting cloudy red-brown. Not as dark as expected. Smells great, of tropical fruit, pepper, lemon and cloves. Taste has some pepper and spice upfront, with lots of herbs and the fruitiness coming in at the finish. Sort of like the Trader Joes (Unibroue) Vintage Ale. Had in the bottle from the brewery. Aromas of cinnamon and chocolate. Pours a cloudy dark brown with tan head. Light bitter taste. Medium body with sticky texture and average carbonation. Overall a great Belgian style strong ale. HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - NOV 11, 2013
750ml bottle growler. Poured raisin brown, moderate tan head. Aroma is dried fruit and some Belgian yeast. Taste is dried fruit, some sour cherry and light spice. Pretty average body. Overall, pretty good for a new brewery. Looking forward to more. Radek Kliber (7363) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 4, 2013

Aroma nice blend of chocolate, aromatic hops wrapped in mild tartness. Added dimension from alcohol warmth. Solid.7+
Top: medium off-white, rocky texture.
Base: cloudy amber.
Palate : full bodied, chewy, drinkable with light carbonation. Long finish presented.
Taste: Complex. Big but does not feel heavy. Solid leafy bitterness that was not rough. Plum sauce, apple caramel and hops. Very nice blend.
A clear reddish brown ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, sweet dark fruity malt with licorice, molasses, coriander, curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice dark molasses with coriander, curacao, iodine notes, good alcohol warmth, very nice. OttBottShare Oct 2013.
