Cask at the Cherry Tree Inn beer festival, Woodbridge. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of hops, grass, flowers, tequila, lime and lemon. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterneee. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish has nice bitterness. Surprisingly good.

Cask (possibly 3.5%), 1/3 pint by gravity at PRAF 2017, Town Hall, Paisley on 20 Apr 2017: toffee, floral aroma with some lime, pale golden with a thin short-lived bubbly head, floral, lime flavour, oily, hoppy aftertaste.

White Lion Leigh Lancashire. Cask.
Hazy golden appearance, slight smell of lime.
Pleasant, easy session ale, refreshing. Definitely a summer ale rather than a winter ale but well worth a taste.

Cask conditioned at The Drillmans Arms, Stratton, Gloucs. Gold with white head. This proved to be a light, citrus Golden Ale with a hint of lime, slightly sharp, easy on the palate. Very decent.

Cask at the Anvil, Wigan. Faint smell of lime and sick (possibly tequila the morning after). Looked a nice pint: clear straw colour with a lasting thick white head. But taste was far too sweet for me.

Cask handpump, The Crown Inn, Stockport, Greater Manchester in the company of Lynn and Barry, Saturday 18th February 2017 A little soapy hops, soft, really soft in the mouth, not getting the Tequila but this isn’t bad despite the gimmickery. Soapiness comes through at the end as well, it’s just a simple golden, pretty good but not great. A6 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.3

Cask @ Airedale Heifer, Keighley. Straw coloured with a thin head. The tequila influence is apparent with a very light taste of it, and the ale has a spirit-like sweetness running through it. It’s at its most hoppy in its nose.
