Our roasted chocolate and pale malts shake hands creating mild caramel flavors. Brown is your new reason to love beer. Hops are added to create the perfect balance of sweetness to hopiness. Brown is back... and it's beautiful.

pours a clear copper with a small beige head, good lacing. smell is faint, touch of caramel, touch of spice, some roasted nuts. taste is of cocoa, burnt caramel, some spice, sweet malts, ends dry with a little bitterness in the back.

This is one of the better browns that I’ve had. Pretty dark for a brown, nice fluffy head. Pleasant caramel malt aroma, rather sweet smelling.. Sweet, bready, malty taste that is nice and smooth. Not a big fan of the style but this is a good one.

spikester (606) - Salem, Oregon, USA - FEB 14, 2008
Poured a dark caramel color with huge three-finger head. Small amount of lacings. Wel balanced, slight favor to the malt side. Nice finish. Nice brown ale. Sessionable browm. Recommended.

Pours a clear brown, with the weak nose. There is a hint of caramel and oats. The flavor is sweet and malty, but with relatively little body.

Draft Amber Ale with sweet bready aroma,The malt and hops litterly cancel each other out so there is not much character at all.The nutty roasty caramel notes are so very subtle add the hops spiciness its a bit conteractive and quite bland on the tongue.Medium to thin body and medium carbonation its drinkable enough but @ $4.15 a glass I guess I want a little more then this beer is delivering.

swanmann (782) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 28, 2008
The bottle poured clear iced tea color with slight ruby tones and half an inch of tan foam. Aroma mostly of caramelized malts and slight toasty notes of chocolate. The flavor is a bit sweet and sour with mild toasty bitterness and a fairly light body. One of the better browns I’ve had.

beerbrat99 (132) - Shanghai, CHINA - JAN 20, 2008
Draft. Pours a dark amber with a brown hue. Dense creamy off-white head. Some lacing. Aroma of toffee and biscuit malt. Taste of light caramel and burnt toast. Not much hop character. Finish is too balanced as nothing really stands out.

1st Brewery 07-08 Beer Road Trip with Bikesandbeer, 12/30/07 @ The Brewpub. Pours dark amber with a bright white head. Nose of light malt. Taste ain’t so hot. This was really pretty poor.

Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 12, 2007
12 oz. bottle--Poured a faint brown and thin body with a tiny off-white head. Nose of stale malts and caramel. This beer plays more like a homebrew than anything else. Not very good.
