Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours garnet with a thin oyster head and a red berry aroma. There is a hearty malt flavor with lots of fruit and an oaky vinous finish. A nice blend of tastes. douglas88 (9632) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 29, 2013
Bottle thanks to Mike. 1827 out of 2400. Pours a clear reddish hue with a medium white head. A big fruity nose with huge berries. The flavor is excellent: berries, sweetness, oak, light tartness, white wine. Very interesting. BuckeyeBoy (8494) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 18, 2013

22, capped and waxed. Pours a hazy rubied bright garnet with a loose scant pink rim. Big tart synthetic raspberry nose, smells like a syrup concentrate with a little barnyard funk thrown in. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sharp cough syrup mid palate. Long dry finish. Sledutah (7841) - Utah, USA - APR 27, 2013

Appearance: Clear dark amber with a small off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Tart berries and sugar
Taste: Tart raspberries, oak, dry finish
Bottle:   Somewhat of a deep amber, pinkish/reddish hue, small sudsy white head, little lacing.   Immature Raspberry nose, slightly tart.   Smells like the kitchen when my mother would make her own Raspberry preserves.
Soft berry tartness up front.   Immature Raspberries, fairly authentic.   By that I mean it doesnt seem like some fake Raspberry garbage.   However, as a Sour its pretty tame.   I would call this a "Tart".
Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Starts out with lots of tart Raspberries, but falls off a bit too quickly.   Still clean and enjoyable, but just not the super tart or sour I think a lot of people might expect, such as that of
Cascade.   Still enjoyable tho! luttonm (6763) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 5, 2013
22oz bottle, Seattle. 2012 bottle. Rosy orange, smallish tan head. Tart raspberry-cranberry nose. Fruit leather, some red fruit skin funk. Rich medium body that starts with some souring fruit but mellows with wine tannins and smooth finish. Tart red fruit finish. Pretty alright but not very precise. riversideAK (6265) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Wow, this is rated like shit, I guess I am the only one to like it besides daknole. Strange. Nose of fresh raspberry, wood, jammy wine, a little funky yeast notes. I think it smelled great. Pours dark red with an off white head and lace. Flavors of fresh raspberries, tart and real, did not get any artificial notes, jammy wine, woody barrel notes, a little chewiness and funk in the finish. Dry and freshly tart, nice carbonation. I really liked this shit alot. Maybe I got a good bottle?
