Golden in color. This beer has a strange aroma: sort of woodsy and piney. Not much hop character in the flavor, but enough hop bitterness for a worthy IPA.

Hazy and sunshiny. Aroma is very strawy, peppery, and fruity (mangos, oranges). Deeply creamy refined maltiness, full of fresh hop flavor, but a tad soapy. Beauteous glowing finish, stimulating invigorating bitterness; this is a thing of beauty! A sleeper.

Prostman (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 29, 2004
The aroma was very hoppy but I found the taste to not be as hoppy as expected. Still, this is on old school IPA and one that needs respect. Try it if you get a chance.

Great citrus hops aroma, white lacey head, golden color, not overly carbonated, good hop bite, caramelized, grapefruit, somewhat tart and crisp finish, this is good, almost as good as good as the perfect crime.

Best IPA I have ever encountered. IPAs typically overpower with hops, more like fermented hops juice than beer. This one has very strong hops flavors and smells without being only hops. If I am feeling like an IPA, this is the one I get.

Hazy orange body, creamy white head. Nice lacing. Very nice hop aroma, citrus and pine. The flavor is quite hoppy and is slightly lacking in the malt department. The body is slighlty watery likely due to the light malt bill. I have enjoed other Bridgeport brews more than this one. Not bad though.

drinkbeer (283) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - FEB 13, 2004
Nice representation of the style. Floral, Pine aroma. Very decent amount of hop bitterness, however I was looking for a bit more balance between hop and malt.

TChrome (1481) - North Richland Hills, Texas, USA - FEB 6, 2004
Beer pours hazy medium golden with a fluffy white head that is retained. Aroma is very hoppy. Flavor is once again straightforwardly hoppy and excellent. Strong flavor of grapefruit. Excellent beer for a hophead like me.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2005 Slightly cloudy, orange/golden in appearance. Mildly floral aroma. Decent twang of hop bitterness with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Sweet malty kick. Clean drinker, I like it.
