Best IPA I have ever encountered. IPAs typically overpower with hops, more like fermented hops juice than beer. This one has very strong hops flavors and smells without being only hops. If I am feeling like an IPA, this is the one I get.

Hazy orange body, creamy white head. Nice lacing. Very nice hop aroma, citrus and pine. The flavor is quite hoppy and is slightly lacking in the malt department. The body is slighlty watery likely due to the light malt bill. I have enjoed other Bridgeport brews more than this one. Not bad though.

Nice representation of the style. Floral, Pine aroma. Very decent amount of hop bitterness, however I was looking for a bit more balance between hop and malt.

Beer pours hazy medium golden with a fluffy white head that is retained. Aroma is very hoppy. Flavor is once again straightforwardly hoppy and excellent. Strong flavor of grapefruit. Excellent beer for a hophead like me.

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2005 Slightly cloudy, orange/golden in appearance. Mildly floral aroma. Decent twang of hop bitterness with a nice creamy mouthfeel. Sweet malty kick. Clean drinker, I like it.

Strong grassy/piney hop aroma, moderate fruitiness, and malt in the background. Hazy yellow-amber in color, wispy head but good lacing. Thin flavor, good balance of malt and hops, but both are weak. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Decent IPA - great aroma, but the flavor is lacking.

Cloudy amber color, small off white head that had a good lasting time and left a small amount of lace. The aroma was malty and fruity with a decent amount of hops showing as well. The taste was Light malt with a strong grapefruit and hop presence that had a strong citrus taste that managed to last quite awhile. The after taste was medium bitter with grapefruit and the finish is mild with a fruit pine taste. Not bad but this is a brew that i could leave behind due to the up front harsh hop presence. It's worth trying but i wouldn't go much beyond that.

Enjoyed that the cascade hops do not totally dominate this NW IPA. Another nice, though not spectacular, beer from one of my favorite breweries. This is one of the nicer looking IPAs, I think. Just right level of opaqueness compliments this brisk, citrus, hoppy brew...not too dry, not to bitter, but a fine IPA for sure.
