Enjoyed that the cascade hops do not totally dominate this NW IPA. Another nice, though not spectacular, beer from one of my favorite breweries. This is one of the nicer looking IPAs, I think. Just right level of opaqueness compliments this brisk, citrus, hoppy brew...not too dry, not to bitter, but a fine IPA for sure.

Thanks to Sham for this bottle. Pours a nice golden color that is slightly hazy and with a nice snow-white frothy head. Great classic IPA aroma of sweet hops which have nice citrus notes. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with hops all over the flavor. Very fresh tasting with a smooth crisp body. Really balanced and drinkable. Great IPA! Good retention also.

Quite a bubbly beer with a nice golden color. The aroma is sweet fruit, some citrus, and hops. When drinking the carbonation stands out, accented by hop flavors and a hint of citrus. A little too much carbonation if you ask me but overall a very nice beer.

Bottle: Hoppy aroma, poured a rather large head. Malt complimented hops well. Clean finish. A good IPA yet it somehow lacked pizzaz. definately worth drinking but does not set itself apart from other IPA's.

Light golden color, nice citrus aroma. Has the typical bite of an IPA. Still a clean and refreshing beer. Good effort.

The beer pours a nice deep amaber almost orange color with a little haze. Small heads that quickly dissapates to leave a nice lace dow the glass. Wonderful hoppy IPA aroma very well done..also smell fruit..apples maybe! Very nice hoppy taste and not too dry ..this lingers wonderful..love this IPA. The mouthfeel is just right for this style..just the correct carbonation..but smooth in places. Amost exceptionally drinkable IPA..

Draft@ Pazzo: Good nose. Citrusy, straw. Orange color. Little head. Citrus orange/grapefruit some sweetness. Bitter dry clean finish. Good solid ipa. A tad thin, but I'm getting picky now.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2004 Draught. Dark straw color and a nice foamy head with good retention. Leads with aggressive hop character but has some fruit qualities underneath, including a touch of sourness. Strong citrus quality. Good but not outstanding.
