4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light crisp IPA with a floral taste and a very hoppy finish. Nice and light goes down easy and goes well with fish. Well worth trying, not my favorite IPA but worth trying.

This IPA pours a lovely clear gold until the smidgeon of yeast at the bottom of the bottle hits the glass and produces a cloudy gold. Yum...I love bottle conditioned ales.
The head is quite massive at first but settles into a nice 1/4" layer around the glass.
Smell is citrusy and promising.
Taste is a nice harmonic balance between the hops and the malt that lingers in the aftertaste. Superb IPA *and* it didn't take a high abv to make it so! Only thing is, I can only get this one when I make trips to Colorado or order it on line. George999 (466) - Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2017
From bottle, the pour is clear, dark straw in color with a thick white head. The aroma is hops, crisp citrus notes and a light touch of yeast. The taste is initially bitter with a little liquorice notes. There are earthy notes in the background (reminiscent of blue cheese) and the finish is bitter. The mouthfeel is thin. Overall this IPA has strong hops flavors but a not a complexity of flavors. A straightforward IPA. DeliriumT (542) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 13, 2017
Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, spice and tobacco. Something quite bitter about the taste. Definitely more than palatable for my palate which has been beaten senseless by hectic hoppy beers, but some might find it a bit overwhelming. Good beer overall, could use some balance though to counteract those hops.

12 oz bottle pours a semi-hazy orange with thin patchy white head. Aroma is of grapefruit hops. Taste is citrusy hops with rind and malt biscuit notes but a hint of cardboard. Body is mild and sweet. Overall not bad but I don’t think I would intentionally seek it out again. tricksta_p (5162) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2017
Bottle from a supermarket in Oregon. Aroma is zesty citrus peel, grassy hops, tropical fruits, light pale malt, soft floral notes. Light sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Tasty, still pretty royally hopped for a very classic IPA.

Originally rated on 12/17/08. A nice light, hazy copper body with a thin off white cap, spotty lace. I thought there would have been more carbonation since its bottle conditioned. Aroma mostly of pine but some citrus comes in. Nice mouthfeel with a small carbonation bite. Flavor of pine and citrus with the malts making a decent showing. Overall i like my IPA’s a little more aggressive but this was fairly decent, and worth a try Dervock (1445) - AUSTRALIA - APR 22, 2017

Draft Third of a Pint at GBBF 2009 (Day 1), Earl’s Court, London Aug 2009 - Gold in colour. Hoppy but NOT extreme; citrus piney & resinous hops. Malty backbone; pale malts, caramel. Nice long hoppy bitter finish. Very drinkable. Nice IPA. (2009-08)

Very average. Transferring from my old rating system. Hops, but not exciting. Just average. Wouldn’t throw it away. Can’t remember if it was bottle or tap.
